Privacy Policy — Multilevel Speaking

Multilevel Speaking ("the App", "we", "us") is a mobile application that helps
users practice and prepare for a Multilevel-style English speaking exam. This
Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the
choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information: your full name and phone number, provided when you register.
- Voice recordings: audio recordings of your spoken answers during practice exams.
- Transcripts: text transcriptions generated from your voice recordings.
- Exam results: your scores, evaluation feedback, and exam history.
- Payment confirmation information: when you subscribe, you may be asked to confirm your registered phone number so we can verify and activate your subscription.
- Basic usage and technical data: standard server logs (such as timestamps and error logs) used to keep the App running reliably.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and operate the exam practice feature, including converting your speech to text and generating an AI-based evaluation of your spoken answers.
- To show you your exam history and progress over time.
- To verify and activate your subscription.
- To maintain, secure, and improve the App.
3. Third-Party Services
To provide our core features, we share limited data with the following
third-party service providers, solely for the purposes described below:
- Google Gemini API: processes your voice recordings to generate text transcriptions and question audio.
- Anthropic Claude API: processes your answer transcripts to generate an automated exam evaluation.
- Cloudflare (R2 storage): stores your voice recordings and app content securely.
- Railway: hosts our backend server and database.
- Google Play Billing: processes subscription payments. We do not receive or store your full payment card details; this is handled directly by Google.
These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use your
information for their own independent purposes.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account information and exam history for as long as your
account is active. You can permanently delete your exam history at any time
from within the App ("Clear History" feature in the History screen). To
request deletion of your entire account and all associated data, please
contact us using the information below.
5. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your
information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access-controlled
storage. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100%
secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your Choices
- You can delete your exam history at any time within the App.
- You can request full account deletion by contacting us.
- You can stop using the App and uninstall it at any time.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for users preparing for an English language
proficiency exam and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do
not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be
posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
